Helping to end MS
Meet Brenda Dubilowski with RE/MAX Excellence who had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 6 years ago and who is very passionate about finding a cure and helping individuals to find homes that can efficiently accommodate them and also pushing for Universal design to be incorporated into future building codes in order for homes to be reconstructed to accommodate such individuals, it would be a more convenient and a more affordable task for these individuals to have the convenience of having their home structure around them to physically adapt with them and their disability, as we all know the unpredictability of this disease is.
In Alberta, there is a struggle for more affordable housing for people with limited mobility resulting to be on a mission to introduce Universal design into the future building codes, homes being constructed to accommodate these individuals. Homes that can accommodate these individuals are in high demand, not only for people with MS, but for anyone who has a disability of any sort.
Being a Realtor with RE/MAX Excellence in Edmonton, AB, I play a key role being actively involved as an Ambassador for the MS Society helping to to raise awareness, making this invisible disease Visible. I am also sitting on the Gov’t Relations committee addressing these issues to encourage government support and promote Barrier-Free/Universal Design in future construction of homes.
My passion is working with people and working for THEIR best interests, I am very excieted to have the opportunity to work with individuals with very limited mobility and a higher need as well as donating a portion of my commissions to the MS Society to help find a cure.
